“Shedding” is quite common within the first few weeks and nothing to be concerned about. The hairs that have been transplanted will enter in to the Catagen, or transition, phase. For the first 3 months or so, the follicle will be in its Telogen, or resting, phase. By 3 to 4 months, you should start to see new hairs sprouting from the transplant site as the follicle goes back in to its Anagen phase.
