4-Month NeoGraft Hair Transplant Update
Here we are at the 4-month mark, and I am starting to get really excited! I can see the hairs in all of the areas that I got the hair transplant starting to grow in. The receding hairline is pushing forward again, and the old bald spot is starting to fill up with hair! It is honestly one of the greatest feelings I have ever felt.
I am sure that if you are reading this blog, it is because you have either suffered from hair loss yourself or you know someone who is suffering from hair loss now. As a male, it is something that can contribute to depression and low self-esteem. I can’t even begin to imagine how it can mentally affect a female who is suffering from having thinning hair or starting to go bald. I didn’t even realize how much my bald spot made me feel until I am now starting to grow the hair that I had lost back.
I have been starting some PRP treatments to help with the overall growth of my hair too. PRP stands for Platelet-Rich Plasma and is a procedure where your own blood is drawn and then spun in a centrifuge until the platelet-rich parts of your blood with all the growth hormones, etc., are isolated. The isolated platelet-rich blood is then injected back into your scalp to stimulate overall hair growth. I will be giving you more of an update on this procedure starting next month as I monitor the results.
I started taking the Nutrafol supplemental vitamins about a month ago, and I have started to see a big gain in my hair growth. I am pretty confident that the combination of these new supplements and the Revivogen Bio-Cleansing Shampoo and the Revivogen Thickening Conditioner has played a huge part in this accelerated hair growth.
I am also loving getting the regular haircuts from Miami Fades. It just gives me a really awesome feeling after I get my hair done. I can’t even explain it, but it usually leads to wanting some new clothes and then wanting to go out for dinner or something. It just raises my self-confidence and makes me feel good about how I look . . . And I want to show the world! Ha ha ha
If you are reading this because you are a patient with us at the Toronto Hair Transplant Clinic or because you are considering it, I am really hoping that sharing my story with everyone will help answer any and all questions that you may have. I am also thankful that I was able to be a part of this experience from start to finish. The start was very exciting, the next 2 months were kind of boring and not much to write about, but now that we are starting to see some amazing results, I am looking forward to telling you all about everything that I am experiencing.
‘Til we meet again next month!
