Consultation With Dr. Torgerson

The initial consultation and quote process can easily be done via Skype or FaceTime. This can be arranged by scheduling an appointment for your consultation the same way that you would if you were booking an in-office consultation. During this Skype/FaceTime consultation, you would be on a conference call with Dr. Torgerson and most likely another member of our hair transplant team. Here you would be given the initial “redesign” of your current hair, and a plan can be made as to what the solution is for your individual case. You will also find out how many grafts will be necessary and what kind of game plan we will want to go with for the future. This is where we will also be able to give you a quote for the procedure, and then you can decide if this fits your needs and budget.

When you make the decision to go forward with the hair transplant procedure, we will book you a “surgery” date. The surgery itself is fairly simple and does not come with a lot of restrictions as far as travel goes. We would recommend though that you do still take a little time off of work to recover, as the swelling can then be minimized for you.

Paperwork & Instructions

Once we have booked your surgery, we will send your paperwork and the pre-surgery instructions that we give to all of our patients. This is a step-by-step process on what needs to be done before you arrive the morning of your surgery. It also prepares you for what you can expect on the day of your surgery. All of this can be signed and verified either over the phone or via e-mail without any hassle, no matter where you are at.

Flights and hotels would be the responsibility of the patient, but we can recommend popular hotels or travel sites if you are interested or are looking for any assistance.

Once you arrive at our office on the day of the surgery, the rest will be history, and you will be very satisfied with the results of your new hair.
