5 Celebrities That Seem Less Bald Than Before
1. John Travolta, 2011 vs. 2014
Besides the usual plastic surgery rumours such as Botox and dermal fillers, John Travolta is also known for his possible hair transplant, wig, and toupée.
It is well known that John Travolta suffered hair loss at a fairly young age. Some actors have been brave enough to shave the remaining hair, going for the bald look, such as Bruce Willis. However, John Travolta hasn’t seemed to follow that theory or look. John Travolta has tried all kinds of different ways to hide his baldness.
Rumour has it that Travolta’s hair treatment attempts have included a special wig or hairpiece attached to his hair. The problem with this kind of wig or hairpiece is that they cause a lot of irritation to the existing hair, and the user can suffer from even further hair loss due to this irritation.
There has also been speculation that Travolta had a hair transplant instead of using wigs. A hair transplant would definitely be a possible option, as it starts to produce comparable results 9 months after the surgery date.
Although it cannot be confirmed whether it’s a John Travolta wig, hairpiece, toupée, or hair transplant, the bottom line is that John Travolta obviously has done something to gain his hair back. And rightfully so!
2. Jude Law, 2013 vs. 2014
In 2013, Jude Law was seen with a receding hairline as well as a thinning patch near the front of his scalp. But at the Toronto Film Festival in 2014 he was spotted with a much fuller head of hair. How would one guess this might happen? My best guess is that a hair transplant was definitely a very plausible explanation.
3. Matthew McConaughey, 1999 vs. 2014
For Matthew McConaughey, the story he is expecting us to believe it that this miraculous hair regrowth was the result of some wonder drug. As far as we are aware, there is no wonder drug out there that can actually regenerate hair follicles. There are obviously well-known drugs such as Rogaine or Propecia that can help restore and maintain your existing hair follicles, but to this date, no drug that I am aware of exists to actually regenerate the hair follicles. So from my perspective and personal opinion, I would say that there may have been a little bit of help from a hair transplant to do some preventative maintenance and then definitely the assistance of these other drugs to help the process along.
4. Kevin Costner, 2003 vs. 2014
Kevin Costner somehow also managed to gain hair as the years went by. My guess is that he has had more than just one hair transplant and has actually chosen a very consistent, yet subtle route of regaining and maintaining his full head of hair through hair transplants as well as either Propecia, Rogaine, or both.
5. Jeremy Piven, 1995 vs. 2014
Jeremy Piven’s forehead was more like a “five-head’ in 1995. But as you can see in 2014, his hairline somehow managed to crawl its way forward. I’m pretty sure I know what was done here!
