During the consultation, Dr. Torgerson will discuss how many treatments would be required for the area you wish to remove hair from. Like most clinics today, patients will have the option between a pre-purchased package rate of multiple treatments or individual treatment rates. If you ever come across a clinic that does not offer package rates, then you will be quoted per treatment. There are multiple variables that could determine the cost of the laser hair removal such as your hair type, hair colour, size of the area, hair density, and skin type. Typically, 5 to 8 treatments are required per area, and they are spaced every 4 to 8 weeks apart. Small areas can range up to $200 per session. These include the upper lip, chin, underarm, nose, navel, side burns, ears, and areola. Larger areas such as your back or legs can cost anywhere up to $400.
